Brian Gerlach was named “Project Controls Manager of the Year” by a former employer. He has also been a guest lecturer at the University of Cincinnati,
Xavier University, University of Toledo and Bowling Green State University. In 2003, he was selected to be a member of the first beta test group (1 of the
first 14 people world-wide) for the Planning & Scheduling Professional certification test by the Association for the Advancement of Cost Engineering (AACE
International). He has also prepared various papers covering a variety of project management topics including: construction claims, project scheduling,
and project controls. In 2002, he prepared the CPM construction specification that is still in use by the Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT). In
2008-2009, he developed the master work breakdown system (WBS) and CPM scheduling specification utilized by the District of Columbia Department of
Transportation, and has developed numerous project control systems, processes, and training materials for projects in excess of $300 million (USD). He

Mr. Gerlach also provides project management services to support clients involved in various types of construction claims and dispute resolution including:
the preparation and/or review of construction claims arising from delays, disputed changes, and time related costs (Forensic delay and analysis
preparation), detailed CPM delay analyses, damage calculations, and productivity impacts/losses, specification compliance analyses, cost estimates,
litigation support including the preparation, analysis and resolution of contract disputes, and surety litigation consulting including: surety payment and
performance bond claims and administration, and the re-let and completion of disrupted projects on USACE, DOE, DOD, GSA, NASA, USN, and USCG
projects and has been assigned to various projects in Alaska, California, Connecticut, Delaware, District of Columbia, Florida, Indiana, Illinois, Kentucky,
Louisiana, Maryland, Michigan, Missouri, Nevada, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Virginia, Washington, West Virginia, Puerto
Rico, and Argentina. These projects have included: transportation/heavy civil projects (Roads, bridges, mass transit, and parking structures), industrial

Florida, Illinois, and Washington, DC and consisted of water and wastewater treatment plants, schools, tenant build-outs, roadwork, parking structures, and
mass transit facilities. Also, created and implemented an estimating system to bid new scheduling assignments.
